Jennifer King

Jennifer King is an artist and designer living in Los Angeles. She was born in Connecticut and grew up in northern New Jersey. She received her BFA from the University of Colorado, Boulder, where she studied ceramics with Betty Woodman. Since that time, Jennifer has continued to work in a variety of media, including ceramics, while working as a graphic designer and art director. Throughout her work, Jennifer’s focus in ceramics has continued to return to the play between sculptural and functional ceramic forms that explore the surface. She also works in mixed media and collage, which speak to her background in graphic design and the interplay of image and text. Jennifer lives with her husband and two children in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, where she also maintains her studio.
