ABOUT US
Xiem™ [pronounced “sim”] Clay Center is located in the heart of Pasadena, California and was founded by Kevin Xiem Nguyen in 2003.
Xiem™ is a fun and inspiring place to make ceramic art and enjoy interacting with a great group of people.
Our center comprises
Xiem™ Clay Center is an education center for the ceramic arts, with six 6-week class sessions per year. We offer 3 levels of studio membership - with 24/7 studio
access available for Premier members. Outside firing services for non-members and private lessons are also available.
Xiem™ Gallery and our Retail Store feature a selection of innovative contemporary ceramics, sculpture and jewellery made by local artists, our members and faculty.
Visit us to view our wide range of hand-crafted and designer gifts, Cone 10 clays, low-fire glazes, specialist ceramic tools, books and magazines. Additionally,
in our patio section, we sell large-scale contemporary architectural pots imported from China, Vietnam and Thailand, one-of-a-kind plant stands and potted
plants nurtured by Kevin’s Mom.
