New Student Information

Beginners please note:
You will get dirty! Wear comfortable, washable clothes and please bring a hand towel. A basic set of tools is required for all classes and can be purchased in the Xiem™ Retail Store. Please arrive 10 minutes early for your first class meeting. Our friendly staff will be available to help you get started, to assist you in purchasing any necessary tools and to facilitate the payment of your class balance. Tool kits are class specific and range in price from $19.95 to $37.95.

When in doubt, please ask! Xiem™ staff members are available in the Gallery during business hours.

No new work can be made after the class session is over. However, you will have two weeks grace period to complete all the work from your class. All work must be made at Xiem™ Studio and signed or it will not be fired. PRODUCTION WORK IS NOT ALLOWED.

Please take your work, tools, and leftover clay home with you on your last day of class, even if you are planning to return for the next session. ITEMS LEFT ON SHELVES WILL BE DISCARDED.

Private Lessons
Private Lessons are available by arrangement with instructors (one-on-one or small group). The fee is $60 an hour per person, $100 for two people, and $45 per person for groups of three or more. It is very important that you read Xiem™ Studio Etiquette before your second-class meeting for some general clean up and studio practice guidelines.

FAILURE TO ABIDE BY THE STUDIO RULES MAY RESULT IN TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP OR DISMISSAL FROM CLASS. XIEM™ CLAY CENTER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE.
